MARNYS® Organic Essential Tea Tree Oil contains the following chemotypes: terpinene-4ol, ?-terpinene, distilled from its leaves, its color is from colorless to slightly yellowish, with a penetrating, herbaceous, camphorated and pungent flavor, properties that favor food taste. MARNYS® Organic Essential Tea Tree Oil is food grade, and you can add it to infusions, soups or broths to give a refreshing touch and a relaxing aroma. Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) is native to Australia, and its "discovery" was due to the expedition of the English captain James Cook that in 1770 reached the Australian coast. When they ran out of tea, English sailors decided to boil the leaves of this local tree and, although the taste was strong, they were satisfied with its freshness. The first inhabitants of Australia used preparations based on Tea Tree leaves to obtain an infusion that helped "condition" the stomach and the body in general. About 230 species of the genus Melaleuca are known, all of Australian origin, while the essential oil of Tea Tree is obtained exclusively from Melaleuca alternifolia. The Tea Tree is a shrub with very narrow and aromatic linear leaves (10-35 mm long, 1 mm wide), white flowers arranged in spikes and small woody fruit. The Tea Tree has been obtained by steam distillation and has not been denatured or mixed with other oils, which ensures the properties of the essential oil. Instructions for use: Always take diluted, 1-2 drops, in 250 gr of food (juice, infusion, salad, etc.). Maximum 1 time per day.
